West Hampstead Life Extensions

As the lineside signalling assets between Kentish Town and Bedford are approaching the end of life, there is a proposed intervention on a item-by-item basis to update the current equipment conditions, including location cases, disconnection boxes, lineside cables and point and track circuit tail cables.

West Hampstead Re-Control

For the Re-control, the delivery aims are to replace the existing NX panels at the West Hampstead Power Signal Box and replace life expired equipment in the PSB and seek to deliver operational functionality which maintains or improves the current operational capability of the railway within the scheme boundaries. There will also be an introduction of an insight system to assist with reducing the Signaller’s workload by automatically route setting to the appropriate timetable.
