The Kenilworth project involves the design and build of a brand new station and surrounding infrastructure including a shuttle service to serve the station.
The local council instructed a specialist rail advisor to assist them with develop a successful rail scheme and manage project delivery. The project realised that this scheme will be CSM-REA significant and will fall under being categorised as Interoperable. With this in mind the rail advisory company suggested an independent specialist be appointed to oversee the CSM-REA and RIR responsibilities. They approached Railway Assurance and together negotiated a strategy to ensure the relevant legislations were applied correctly and efficiently.
