The scope of the project is to upgrade Coltishall Lane and Belaugh Lane Level Crossing to reduce safety risks at this site and reduction of traverses that require the user to call the signaller, whilst increasing safety to the users of the crossing. A secondary benefit is to reduce the call volume in the Trowse Signal Box. The scope is to develop and design an Automatic Half Barrier Crossing at the two locations.
