Railway Assurance worked in partnership with Network Rail on the Thameslink Programme specifically the Engineering Safety team.

The professional services supplied included managing project teams to ensure that all safety submissions and approvals have been achieved. This was specifically related to CSM-REA, ROGS, Safety Case(s) and RIR. This role involved management of the AB, NoBo, DeBo and the Safety Review Panel (SRP).

This agreement included:

  • Developing and rollout of the Thameslink Processes and Procedures to ensure delivery of legal obligations.

  • Development and rollout of templates which support the processes and procedures to ensure delivery of legal obligations.

  • Managing the Thameslink scheme on a day to day basis to successfully deliver safety requirements.

  • Producing and agreeing the deliverables with the project teams prior to works commencing.

  • Managing the CIP (AB) within Network Rail to ensure Thameslink Programme’s compliance with the requirements of ROGS, CSM, Interoperability and the Network Rail Safety Management System.

  • Arranging applications for the agreement of CSM Significance categorisation in accordance with Network Rail standards and the CSM Regulations.

  • Ensuring all relevant documentation is collected and issued in the appropriate time scales to ensure AB review for significant projects.
