HS2 is a High Speed Railway which spans from London to the Midlands, The North and Scotland. The system will consist of 25 stations and link 8 of Britain’s largest cities.
The HS2 project is a complex system due to the number of functions and assets which make up the system as a whole.
Railway Assurance have been commissioned to support the System Safety Design Team in managing the Railway System Safety commitments mandated by CSM.
To date the remit consists of:
Producing and agreeing the deliverables with the project team as and when required to meet project timescales
Production of HAZID Briefing documents
Facilitating HAZID workshops
Ensuring all reasonably foreseeable hazards are collated and recorded
Supporting Hazard Management sessions for each asset
Providing Hazard Management training as and when required to ensure consistent and accurate Hazard Management across all assets
Production of System Definition Reports for specific assets
Providing updates on the progress of Hazard Record development as required
Updating the required Hazard Management databases
Regular team briefings and updates to inform senior leadership teams
